Common name: Metamifop
CAS No.: 256412-89-2
Chemical Name:
(RS)-2-[4-[(6-Chloro-2-benzoxazolyl)oxy]phenoxy]-N-(2-fluorophenyl)-N-methylpropanamide
Molecular formulae: C23H18ClFN2O4
Chemical Structure:
Purity: 97%
Mode of actions:
Metamifop belongs to ACC enzyme inhibitor, which can inhibit the synthesis of plant fatty acids. Within a few days of application, sensitive varieties appear to be defoliated and inhibit growth, which is excellent for controlling most annual grass weeds. Unlike most of these herbicides, oxazolamide is safe for rice and effective against major weeds in paddy fields, such as Barnyard grass, Qianjin, Matang, and bulba grass. It is mainly used for transplanting and direct seeding of paddy fields. Metamifop is a promising herbicide with low toxicity, environmental safety, wide miscibility and potential for use in other crops and lawn weeding.
Crops:
Cereal crops; Rice; Turf grass
